You can take someone special with you and have fun at a line dancing lesson, then head over to Wildhorse Saloon, one of the most popular live music venues in the world, to shake those a**es and try out your new fabulous moves.

And if Nashville sounds like the perfect destination for your spring vacation in the US, don’t forget to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, because you’ll be amazed by all the exhibitions there. The weather is gorgeous from March to May, and you’ll have the time of your life exploring the city and its culture. Grab your camera with you and get ready to be amazed!

2. Chicago, Illinois

Chicago is known as the Windy City, but after a tough winter, it comes to life and is more beautiful than ever. This is one of the best destinations for spring vacation in the US, and every retiree will fall in love with this big city experience.

Don’t forget to visit the Art Institute of Chicago, because it’s one of the best places in America. There are over 300,000 pieces of world-class art there, ranging from the talented Van Gogh to American Gothic.

If you’re into sports, you can go to a sporting event, whether at the Chicago Bulls for basketball, the Chicago Blackhawks for hockey, or the Cubs and White Sox for baseball.

You can rent a bike or book a regular tour to see the prettiest cherry blossoms ever. Their smell, color, and natural beauty will leave you speechless, so don’t forget to take pictures and soak everything in. This will surely become one of the best spring vacations in the US!

5. Solvang, California

Who said that these spring vacations in the US couldn’t have a European flair? If you don’t believe us, keep reading. Solvang is a beautiful village in California and a top-notch place where retirees can have fun.

Discover the rich history of California through the eyes of Spanish missionaries as you tour the stunning Old Mission Santa Ynez, which is centrally located in this pretty village. If you love wine and want to have fun with testing, there are several wineries around Solvang. This place is the Santa Ynez Valley, the home of the finest wine country and vineyards, so you won’t have a problem discovering something for yourself.

And while you’re in Solvang, you have to eat the right way. The Danish food is to die for, so go to Bit O’ Denmark to enjoy an exquisite meal and to Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery to grab a snack. Their pastries are the best in town!
